Did He Have Passion?

In retrospect of the last 365 days (a day early, I know), and as with all years past, I’ve learned a lot about myself and have made new friends with great people.  And I have nothing but a very respectable thanks to give to my ever so growing relationship with photography.

Looking back at the thousands upon thousands of photographs that I’ve created, the frozen moment of everything and everyone in frame, life has so much to offer outside of the walls of normalcy.  It’s so much more comfortable to be in a world of routine, but honestly…where’s the excitement in all that?

The images that I’ve had the pleasure of taking throughout the year have opened my own eyes to lives that all share in the one commonality that I hope we all have within us…passion.

A Strange Time - Cemetery

Took a breather over the weekend to get away from everything that broke me down this past week.  I needed to clear my mind and simply forget.

The only company to keep me comfort was my SX70 and 50D.

“TRIUMPH” pt. 1-1

We all find beauty in certain things that others may not even think about without a second guess. It’s those vague details that grab a hold of our souls, and bring out the feelings and emotions that connect us.  It’s more than just an object.  It’s a reflection of our personality, who we are, or maybe…a strong part of us we forgot in the mixture of living, and have since been searching for.

Raw, unrefined beauty was lost, and now she’s found…
